Well the semester officially starts tomorrow (Tuesday). I'm in the home stretch now. I've finished everything required for my major and now I just have a few core classes to do this spring. So long story short, I'll be a college graduate in June. On the one hand I'm glad it's finally drawing to a close, but on the other I'm sort of nervous. In the next few months I have to find a full-time job, try to find a place closer to town and begin thinking about potential grad schools. All in all, though, I feel like I'm ready to move on and get on with this new stage in my life.

This semester is going to be busy. I'm signed up for almost twenty credits and I still have my job to worry about. I hope I can keep sketching, but I think any free time is sort of eaten up at the moment. I guess this is the price I pay for slacking off a bit with my classes a while back. Oh well.

On another note I just saw Moon, the movie that just came out on DVD. It is an amazing film, well worth the watch for anyone who enjoys science fiction. It seems that 2009 was a very good year for sci-fi films, having not only Moon but Star Trek, District 9 and Avatar. My friends and I agree that the entire genre seems to be going through sort of a comeback in recent years, with more of shows and movies being not just random 'shoot-em-ups' in space, although there still is plenty of that.
